Catherine Zeta-Jones returned home after having checked herself into a facility last month to receive treatment for her Bipolar II disorder, Mail Online notes.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 43, was spotted driving back to her New York City apartment Tuesday by paparazzi. Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas have been in France promoting his new HBO movie Behind The Candelabra in which he plays flamboyant entertainer Liberace and Matt Damon plays his love interest.

"She's doing a really good job of getting balanced," husband Michael Douglas said Monday. "I'm proud of her."

Douglas, 68, recently beat throat cancer and is elated his wife is doing well.  The Oscar-winning actor also told Us magazine that his wife was doing "wonderful."

"She's got herself worked out with her meds and she's raring to go!" he said.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is gearing for the premiere of her latest movie, Red 2, which comes out July 19. Her co-stars include Bruce Willis and Anthony Hopkins.  

Catherine Zeta-Jones, the welsh-born actress, won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the 2002 film adaptation of Chicago. Douglas won the Oscar for Best Actor for playing corporate raider Gordon Gekko in 1987's Wall Street.

Zeta-Jones and Douglas have a 12-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter together.
