Season 2 of "Orange Is the New Black" premiered on Netflix last week (June 6) but there's already a lot of buzz about Season 3. According to Entertainment Weekly, Mary Steenburgen has signed on to appear in the upcoming season but details about her character are being kept under wraps.

Steenburgen tweeted the news and teased fans writing, "Very excited to go to my first wardrobe fitting of OITNB! Will I be in orange or black? :)"

Steenburgen's new role isn't the only casting news for the hit Netflix show. According to Deadline, Dascha Polanco (Daya), Adrienne C. Moore (Black Cindy), Samira Wiley (Poussey), Selenis Leyva (Gloria) and Nick Sandow (Joe Caputo) were all added as series regulars for Season 3.

Laura Prepon's character Alex also said she will be a regular for the upcoming season. Fans were disappointed when Prepon's character was given a reduced role in Season but she said on the "TODAY" show that it was because of her busy schedule.

"I'm really excited, because I missed everybody so much during Season 2," she said. "We started shooting yesterday. It's awesome. I can't wait to get back to work!"

Prepon didn't say how Alex will come back in the new season. Season 3 of "Orange Is The New Black" hasn't been given an official release date yet.

So far, Season 2 of the show received rave reviews.

"Where last year was driven largely by Piper's assimilation into the prison culture and her on-again, off-again feelings for both Alex and Larry, here there's a bigger story that ramps up the tension and pace while still allowing for all the character touches [creator Jenji] Kohan and her team do so well. It's the show it was last year, but in many ways better," HitFix's Alan Sepinwall wrote.
