Can't get enough of the thrills and secrets on "Pretty Little Liars"?

TVLine reported that the ABC Family drama has been renewed for a sixth and seventh season. The announcement was made just hours before season five of the scripted series premiered on the network.

"'Pretty Little Liars' has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture," Tom Ascheim, ABC Family President, said in a statement. "I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience because 'A' has a lot in store for our Liars."

The show, which is based on the novels by Sara Shepard, stars Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell. The thriller series has become the network's top rated show with an average of 3.8 million viewers, and has a top spot in each individual demo, including 18-34 (1.5 million/2.2 rating)

Along with being the longest running series on ABC Family, "Pretty Little Lairs" is also the most tweeted-about series, gaining nearly 675,000 tweets per episode.

"We know the ending of the show, and it's not in Season 5," Marlene King, executive producer, told TVLine in March. "I know the show does not end in Season 5, even though we don't have a Season 6 pickup. The end of Season 5 definitely launches us into a Season 6. I think, as soon as they tell us [the end date], we will write to that. We know the ending and we're prepared to get there, but we need a 12-episode notice to get there."

King also mentioned that a PLL movie could be in the works to continue to the story. Season six will premiere mid-2015, while season seven will is scheduled to premiere in mid-2016. There is no news on how many episodes each of the seasons will air.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season five aired June 10.
