Andrew Cuomo Orders Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom to Pull T-Shirt From Their Clothing Line

Khloe Kardashian and her NBA player husband Lamar Odom could be in trouble with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The clothing line the two developed, Rich Soil, launched a t-shirt bearing a logo strikingly similar to the agricultural department's trademark symbol. And New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo is not having it.

The New York Daily News reported Monday that Cuomo's office had filed paperwork to order the Kardashian fashion duo to stop selling the t-shirt. The documents reportedly state that if the couple does not stop selling the t-shirt within five days of receiving the notice, the state will sue, according to the New York Daily News.

"The State of New York has invested substantial time, effort and resources creating the respect and goodwill associated with the trademark," Susan Rosenthal, a lawyer for the Department of Agriculture, said in a letter sent to Rich Soil on Friday, according to New York Daily News.

The t-shirt in question features a logo similar to that of the Pride of New York logo and replaces the text with Rich Soil New York. Selling for $35, the shirt also features the State of Liberty in identical placement.

The Cuomo administration is seemingly worried about the reputation associated with the Kardashians and how it applies to the State of New York, including New York City, where the Kardashians have filmed repeated episodes of their reality show and spin-offs.
