The Miami Heat play the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday in Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals. Tipoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.

Miami needed six games to advance past the Indiana Pacers and earn a spot in the NBA finals for the fourth straight year. Their opponent, the Spurs, meet them for the second straight year.

"I think it's great these two franchises have this opportunity in back-to-back years to compete for a championship," Heat star Dwyane Wade told the Associated Press. "Last year was an unbelievable series and ... it went down to the very end. We won the series by a total of five points, you know? That's how close it was. But it was a very even series. I think this year it could be another great series."

Games between Miami and San Antonio have been nearly even, with San Antonio having outscored the Heat 684-679, according to the Associated Press.

"If you look at the numbers, the lead changes, the ties and the points in that series, it's almost even," Heat star LeBron James said. "So we did our part, they did their part.

"Both teams put themselves in a position to win an NBA championship, and we just happened to make one or two more plays to win it. ...

"Last year is last year and we're excited about it, but this trophy this year belongs to nobody. It's up for grabs."

San Antonio also needed six games to earn a spot in the NBA finals. Games alternated back and forth between San Antonio and the Oklahoma City Thunder, with San Antonio winning the final two games to close out the conference finals series.
