Real Estate Boss Bans Sex In Bathrooms After Flushed Condoms Block Pipes

The bosses at a UK based real estate company have ordered agents to stop having sex in the bathroom because the condoms flushed down the toilet have clogged the building's pipes.

Senior staff at Savills in London sent an email Wednesday to 50 employees calling out their bathroom escapades after plumbers discovered used condoms while plunging the toilets in the women's bathrooms, Metro reported.

"After seven hours Pimlico Plumbers have established the cause of the problem," began the email sent by Richard Gutteridge with the subject "Loos."

"Unfortunately the blockage was caused by a build up of used condoms. Obviously such activity should not be taking place in the office," Gutteridge wrote to his agents.

The email was meant to be a private message for the employees of the upmarket real estate company on Sloane Street. But the email somehow leaked onto the Internet and has since gone viral.

Gutteridge went on to let his employees know the inconvenience they have caused the company.

"As well as it being extremely inconvenient to have both loos out of order for an entire day, this has now cost the office a considerable amount of money," read the email, Metro reported. "Please can we be considerate to the ancient Sloane Street plumbing going forward."

Savills said in a statement after the email was leaked that the blocked pipes may not have been entirely caused by flushed condoms, but possibly due to shared pipes with the buildings next door.

"Plumbers were called in on Wednesday to investigate problems with the ladies' lavatories in Savills Sloan Street office," a spokeswoman told the newspaper. "It was discovered that the main drainage system, which is shared with adjacent buildings, was blocked with debris including condoms.

"The blockage has been removed and the system is now working."
