Five months, only five more months until AMC's "The Walking Dead" takes over our Sunday nights again. If you're like us, you have been keeping up with the latest casting announcements, spoiler news and theories. (If you haven't, we got you covered, just click the links).

The official Twitter page for "The Walking Dead" announced that filming for Season 5 started on May 5 and the show will premiere in October. AMC also released a preview of the upcoming season where the cast speculates about what's going to happen.

Just a little refresher: Season 4 ended with Rick Grimes and several members of the group trapped in a train car inside Terminus. Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith had not made it to Terminus yet and Beth was kidnapped.

In the video, Chad Coleman (Tyreese) admitted that "all hell broke loose" in Season 4 and said that things will get "scaled down but even harder" when the show returns. Andrew Lincoln (Rick) said that he thinks Season 5 is going to be "messy" and "brutal."

"We got a reunion and we know how brutal and extraordinarily tough this group is," Lincoln said in the video. "It's going to be messy, it's going to be brutal, it's going to be thrilling how these guys get out of this scrape."

Lauren Cohan (Maggie) seems to agree and said that there is no way the Season 5 premiere can be anything but exciting.

"We know there is no way it's not going to be an explosive beginning to Season 5," she said.

Director Greg Nicotero recently talked to Zap2It about the upcoming season and said that viewers will find out exactly what's cooking at Terminus. It's been speculated - but never confirmed - that Terminus is home to the Hunters aka cannibals mentioned in the comic books.

"I know what she's cooking, and people will find out next season what she's cooking," he told the site. "I'm really proud of [the Season 4 finale]."

He also confirmed that he would be back to direct a few episodes but couldn't talk about them just yet.
