The actors from AMC's "The Walking Dead" have all tweeted that they are back in Atlanta to start filming Season 5. Entertainment Weekly caught up with Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) to find out what details he could spill for the upcoming season.

Reedus told EW that the producers haven't told him much about Season 5 but he knows it's going to "be completely insane."

"I sort of knew I needed like a good month to rest to jump in. The storyline they're throwing me is a thousand miles an hour," he said.

Unfortunately that doesn't reveal much at all but mimics Scott Gimple's comments that the upcoming season is going to be action-packed. Regardless we can't wait to see what Daryl and the rest of the group have in store for the people at Terminus.

In other "Walking Dead" news, Robert Kirkman appeared on The Writer's room for Sundance TV and was asked by a fan whether Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) would lose his hand like he did in the comic books.

Fans of the comic series will remember that the Governor cut Rick's hand off while they were fighting but that was never shown in the TV series. Maybe producers decided to leave it out or it just hasn't happened yet.

Kirkman explained the decision, saying: "I like the fact that he lost his hand in the comic but to be completely honest the practical difficulties of having a guy who doesn't have a hand is extremely complicated in the comic and would be impossible on the show because the comic book doesn't move."

Kirkman explained that in the comic it's easy to have Rick do things without a hand but to act it out on TV would be very, very different and the simplest tasks would become a challenge for Rick. Makes sense, but then Kirkman added "Spoiler alert: in season 5 he loses his hand."

Everyone started laughing so we're going to assume that Kirkman was joking and Rick will be perfectly fine next season.

What do you think? Should Robert Kirkman follow the comic and have Rick Grimes lose his hand?
