With TV season coming to a close this week, the networks are giving us a reason to be excited for the fall.
The CW Network is the latest network to unveil their fall lineup. The network has picked up five brand new dramas including the "Vampire Diaries" spin-off, "The Originals and Reign", the story of a young Mary Queen of Scots.
CW also revealed it has picked up "The Tomorrow People", which will be paired up with the network's breakout hit "Arrow". Two of their newest series, "The 100" and "Star-Crossed" have been picked up but will not debut until midseason.
Returning shows include "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast", which will be making a move to Mondays. "Supernatural" is returning for a ninth season in a brand new timeslot on Tuesdays.
"The Carries Diaries" will return this fall in a new time slot on Fridays, being paired up with "America's Next Top Model".
One of CW's most popular shows, "The Vampire Diaries" will return to its Thursday timeslot and "Nikita" will also make a return in a six-episode final season.
Gone from the schedule this year is "Gossip Girl", which wrapped up with a series finale last December and "90210", which concluded with a series finale earlier this week after 5 seasons.
