Kim Kardashian was reportedly not too keen on turning 32, but her birthday shaped out to be the best birthday ever for the reality star. Kanye West reportedly spent over $1 million on preparations for Kardashian's birthday, the rapper "whisked" away his girlfriend to Rome for a romantic luxury trip to celebrate her birthday.
"Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so he wants to make this extra-special," a source told The Sun. "Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he's pulling out all the stops with presents. Plus it's her first birthday since they've been together as a couple," the source added.
"When in Rome...," Kardashian hinted to her Twitter followers early Friday. She then revealed a part of her birthday plans on her blog.
She revealed her desire for an iPhone 5 for her birthday.
"See the thing is, my boyfriend, he has such good taste that I don't need to tell him," NDTV quoted Kardashian saying. "Before I would be like, 'OK, this is what I want.' Maybe I want an iPhone 5. I kind of want that."
A busy schedule and turning another year older made for muted celebrations for Kardashian.
"I'm working, for like, three months straight with just a couple of days off, so I would love to relax a little bit," she told E News. "I'm not so into a 32nd birthday. Doesn't do it for me, so I don't really care. Just hanging out with the family."
The twice-married reality TV seems head-over-heels in love with West and is doing everything she can to show him that she can be a perfect wife.
"Kim is really showing Kanye she's his perfect bitch," A friend of West's told HollywoodLife.com. "She's been down for him, doing everything for him. Ironing his clothes, cooking for him, pampering the man!
"She got Mercy and makes him hold the cat and s**t like that and when they are not together, she takes pictures of herself with the cat and sends them to him. She's showing love for him, no doubt, and I know he appreciates that. Kim is showing a different side. Who knows, she could be wife material at some point."
