Terry Richardson Sex Scandal Update: Model Regrets Sharing Sexual Message Screenshot

Model Emma Appleton, who recently shared a screenshot of a sexual message she received from photographer Terry Richardson, said she regretted her action for all the heat it was getting.

A recent update in the ongoing Terry Richardson sex scandal revealed that model Emma Appleton is regretting sharing a screenshot of a sexual message she received from the photographer.

"Let me clear something up - I don't want this attention, I have no desire to become known in the slightest," she wrote on Instagram. "If the account is fake then it needs to be removed, if it is real then he is a hideous human. I regret posting it because of what it's caused but at the same time (if it's real) then it shouldn't be covered up, there are too many young, vulnerable girls that this industry can exploit."

True or not, Appleton's post has already done much damage to Richardson's career and character. Apart from being loss of face and business in the celebrity world, the incident has also driven Vogue to drop the photographer. Officials of the magazine also confirmed that they will not be working with him in the future.

Obviously, Richardson's rep went on record to deny the content of the message.

"Terry Richardson did not reach out to this woman. It was sent from a Facebook page that is fake. Terry has no knowledge of who sent this," a spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News. "Mr. Richardson has retained online forensic expert Theo Yedinsky to determine the actual origin of the faked posting."

It will be difficult to believe Richardson is not guilty, considering other models have also come forward with sex allegations against the fashion photographer. Richardson also received a lot of bad press for shooting Miley Cyrus' controversial "Wrecking Ball" video.
