iOS 7.1.1 Download: Update Fixes Keyboard, iPhone 5s Fingerprint Sensor Speed Issues (TWEETS)

Apple's iOS 7.1.1 update fixes previous problems regarding the device's keyboard speed and how it responded with the product, while also upgrading the speed of Touch ID fingerprint sensor capabilities on Apple's iPhone 5S.

Website Apple Insider updated consumers about the new features via their Twitter account, Tuesday.

Apple Insider came out with news shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday, roughly an hour and a half before the website announced the update was available for the iOS 7.1.1 operating system, and its Apple TV product.

"iOS 7.1.1 is out with improvements to Touch ID and the virtual keyboard. See any other changes?," Apple Insider posted on its Twitter account.

"Alongside today's iOS 7.1.1 update, Apple also issued Security Update 2014-002 1.0 for OS X. It includes Safari 7.0.3," Apple Insider said in their first post.

Apple Insider had additional information about the update to Apple's television product Apple TV, but no other insights were provided about its new attributes.

"Apple TV 6.1.1 update is also available for 2nd- and 3rd-generation units. Apple has not provided any details on what changes it may include," Tip Apple Insider said in the Twitter post.

The company plans to introduce an eight generation mobile operating system during the company's Worldwide Developers Conference slated to start June 2.

The yearly conference will be held in San Francisco and last until June 6, according to information on Apple.com.

Mac Rumors, reported that Apple's 7.04 update corrected an issue with FaceTiming. The upgrade was compatible with Apple's iPhone, iPad, and IPod Touch devices.

Apple's iOS 6.1.5 update to the operating system resolved the problem on the company's fourth iPod Touch model.

Apple also resolved issues with text messages not sending or being received via the iOS 7's messaging application USA Today reported.
