Scarlett Johansson is the cover girl for Vanity Fair's May issue that will hit newsstands later this week.
Scarlet Johansson is arguably the sexiest woman in Hollywood. She looks stunning on the cover of fashion bible Vanity Fair's May issue. Posing in a deep-neck black number, the "Captain America" actress looks nothing short of perfection.
She talks to the magazine about her love life and her career. Johansson recently got engaged to Romain Dauriac, a French journalist and ad man and is also expecting her first child.
She told the magazine that she prefers a low-key man over the emotionally "obsessed" actor type.
"It's nice, because we can enjoy each other's worlds, but we don't have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with," she said in Vanity Fair's May cover story. "You know, of course, actors, in general, they're obsessed with emotions. Although, he's French, so he's also probably overly into his emotions."
The couple got engaged only nine months after they started dating and Us Weekly confirmed earlier last month that the actress is pregnant.
"She's about four months along," a source tells Us Weekly. "The baby was a welcome surprise!"
The actress also told the magazine that there was a period when she was "uninspired" by her acting career, which propelled her to feature in some box office flops. This was the time when she divorced her first husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, after three years of marriage.
In a previous interview with C magazine, she described divorce as the ""loneliest thing you'll ever do."
The actress recently made headlines for starring in a SodaStream commercial. Her association with the brand forced her to resign from her position as the ambassador of Oxfam after the non-profit organization objected to her promoting SodaStream, which is operating from Israeli- occupied Palestinian land.
"Oxfam is opposed to all trade from Israeli settlements, which are illegal under international law. Ms. Johansson has worked with Oxfam since 2005 and in 2007 became a Global Ambassador, helping to highlight the impact of natural disasters and raise funds to save lives and fight poverty," the organization said in a report about the incident.
But all that criticism seems to be behind the actress now as she enjoys the success of her recently released movie "Captain America 2."
