Bangladesh and Australia remain the only winless teams in the Super Ten round of the T20 World Cup. Bangladesh lost to the West Indies by 73 runs, to India by eight wickets and, most recently, to Pakistan by 50 runs.
Pakistan's Ahmed Shehzad scored a game-high 111 runs while Bangladesh's bowlers managed to take only five wickets. Bangladesh also struggled on the offensive front, where Shakib Al Hasan scored a team-high 38 runs.
Australia has had similar troubles. They lost to Pakistan by 16 runs, to the West Indies by six wickets and to India by 73 runs. Australia's batsmen accounted for only 86 runs, with Glen Maxwell scoring a team-high 23 runs. On the bowling front, Australia struggled to restrict the Indian batsmen; India's Yuvraj Singh scored a game-high 60 runs.
"I'm disappointed for the team," Australia skipper George Bailey said, via CricBuzz.com. "I'm disappointed with the way we batted. But I'm not embarrassed for anyone, apart from myself. If I was embarrassed I'd say it is with my own performance."
