Following a ban issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sen. Dan Coats listed all the events and activities he will now miss out on in the nation.
In his satirical Twitter posts, the Indiana Republican joked that he was disappointed at having to sit out a family vacation in Siberia, along with having to "cancel my tennis match with Maria Sharapova."
Coats' Twitter joke was mirrored by Arizona Sen. John McCain, who also expressed his mock disappointment on Friday.
"I guess this means my spring break in Siberia is off, my Gazprom stock is lost and my secret bank account in Moscow is frozen," McCain posted online.
Russian officials banned a host of American politicians from the country, including Dan Pfeiffer and Ben Rhodes.
Other legislators barred from entering Russia included U.S. Sens. Harry Reid, John McCain, Mary Landrieu and Robert Menendez. House Speaker John Boehner also cannot visit Russia.
The ban came on Thursday, just minutes after President Obama widened sanctions against Putin's cabinet and the Russian government.
But Boehner didn't seem too fazed by the block.
Representatives from the speaker's office said Boehner was "proud to be included on a list of those willing to stand against Putin's aggression."
