Some travelers even saved $500 per ticket on cross-country flights. Those who tried it said that this flight search tool is beneficial for those travelers who have very limited budgets. 

If you use Google Flights, the tool will even send you a notification if there's a flight ticket that is appropriate for your budget.

Of course, you still need to ensure that you will use this flight search tool ahead of your targeted date since flights get more expensive as your departure schedule gets closer.

4. If you want to include a price watch, you can click the "Track Prices" button so you can receive a notification. 
5. If you are flexible when it comes to the travel date, you can click the "Any Dates" button and Google Flights will show you the cheapest one available.
