Fans of Blackpink holding VIP and standing tickets to the K-Pop group's concert in Singapore were admonished to buckle up after scathing social media reviews surfaced.

In Singapore, the National Stadium hosted two performances by the girl K-Pop group, which is presently on a global tour. However, concertgoers brought their frustrations about their Blackpink concert experience to social media.

TikTok users who went to the first concert night on May 13 complained that the $328 and $248 standing seats in Pens A and B, as well as the $398 VIP area, had terrible views of the stage while other concertgoers recorded acts with their phones.

Some people even went so far as to call it the "worst concert ever," due to what they saw as a lack of manners among Singaporean concertgoers, according to Asia One.

TikTok user Joeychok described how, despite being in Pen B, she could not see the K-pop phenomenon throughout the concert. She captured the act with her phone since she could only see cameras. She complained that she had spent $300 looking through people's phones with her buddy.

Babyyblob, a different TikTok user, slammed the concertgoers in Singapore, calling them rude and selfish.

A VIP ticket holder also voiced her displeasure, complaining that she had been pushed away from the stage throughout the performance and left with a view of outstretched arms and cellphones.

She made a lighthearted comment on whether or not the audience was "filming a Netflix documentary or what." She said in another video that she left the performance crying because she couldn't see anything, leading her to go home.

More Phones Than Faces in the Crowd

Blackpink member Jennie voiced her concerns over seeing more smartphones than faces in the audience on the first night of their much-awaited performance at the National Stadium in Singapore, The Straits Times reported.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa's group, which has garnered praise for their performances, has been labeled the most prominent female pop group in the world today.

Earlier this year, Blackpink hit a milestone by being the first K-Pop group to perform at Coachella, per CNA Lifestyle.

Blackpink's music is renowned for being a top-charting earworm and for reviving classic female empowerment songs for Generation Z by fusing trap, Europop, hip-hop, and electronic dance music.
