Simpatico Software Systems, the firm contracted by Donald Trump's presidential campaign in November 2020 to investigate allegations of voter fraud, has been served with a subpoena by the special counsel overseeing the investigation.

According to the company's founder, Ken Block, he was ordered to provide records about the work his company performed for the Donald Trump campaign, ABC News reported.

The Trump campaign hired Simpatico Software Systems as a second company, but it did not find any concrete proof of election fraud.

Special counsel Jack Smith, who is looking into allegations of voter fraud made by the Trump campaign after the election as well as potential crimes related to the Capitol uprising on January 6, has subpoenaed Simpatico Software Systems founder Ken Block to provide documents of his involvement in the Trump campaign.

Federal financial reports show that Block received over $700,000 in compensation for his services.

No Significant Voter Fraud Evidence Found

Ken Block said that he investigated more than a dozen theories and accusations of voting fraud and found them all to be untrue, according to the Washington Post. No actual voter fraud was found throughout his investigations, and he was unable to verify any of the external accusations of voting fraud that he was requested to look into.

Block did not go into detail about the allegations of voting fraud that his business looked into or the methods used. He has, however, repeatedly refuted Donald Trump's voter fraud claims in public. He recently hailed a court ruling requiring MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell to pay $5 million to a guy who refuted Lindell's bogus election conspiracy.

Trump's representative declined to respond to the report's allegations, instead criticizing them as the result of a politically driven attack against the potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate.

Steven Cheung, a spokesman for the Trump campaign, said that the allegation is a politically driven, unfounded, and futile effort, similar to other fake charges against Donald Trump, per The Hill.
