ROME, ITALY - APRIL 14: Actor Jamie Foxx attends 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro' Rome Premiere at The Space Moderno Cinema on April 14, 2014 in Rome, Italy.

Jamie Foxx's health is still under observation as he remains hospitalized even as his daughter announced that he is recovering.

The daughter of the Oscar-winning actor, Corinne Foxx, posted an update on his father's health condition on her Instagram after the latter had a "medical complication." She says that Netflix's "Back in Action" star is on the mend.

Jamie Foxx is Still Hospitalized

The former co-star of Foxx, Kerry Washington, and NBA superstar Lebron James have since wished the award-winning actor well. According to CNN, sources close to the situation confirmed that the actor-comedian remains to be hospitalized as doctors are still observing his "medical complication."

The daughter of the award-winning actor confirmed that his father experienced a "medical complication" last Tuesday. During her announcement, she asked for privacy for their family. She refused to disclose the "condition" of the actor-comedian. And until now, it remains to be unnamed.

Yet, she assured everyone on the same IG post that his father "is already on his way to recovery." The announcement came shortly after Foxx appeared in a photo while shooting his upcoming Netflix film, "Back in Action."

A few days after the confirmation of the "medical complication," an anonymous source told CNN that the doctors at the hospital are continuing to run tests as they "still [try] to figure out what exactly happened."

Netflix's 'Back in Action' Film Shooting Resumes

Fox News reports that Foxx's health condition disrupted the filming his latest project, in which he stars alongside Cameron Diaz. The production crew of the action movie reportedly had to abruptly suspend the filming of the Netflix film following the hospitalization of the award-winning actor.

However, the film production is back in business on Thursday, a day after Corinne announced the health situation of his father. In the meantime, the production decided to "[use] a stand-in for Foxx on sets," sources of People say.

Although the production of the Netflix movie has resumed, the crew reportedly canceled an upcoming shoot on Sunday due to some changes.
