Jamie Foxx has been rushed to the hospital for suffering a "medical complication," the daughter of the actor-comedian, Corrine Foxx, reveals in her recent Instagram post.

The 29-year-old daughter of the American actor disclosed that his father was enduring a "medical condition," but Corrine did not reveal what it was. However, the family of the Hollywood star assures everyone that Foxx is now recovering from the undisclosed "medical condition."

Jamie Foxx's 'Medical Complication' Rushed Him to the Hospital

According to E! News, the actor's daughter is asking for their family's privacy in the meantime. Although she revealed that her father was suffering from a "medical condition," she refused to explain.

In her Instagram post on April 12, Corinne posted a photo containing the statement of the Foxx family. The uploaded image reads: "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical condition yesterday."

The post has garnered over 14,000 likes since it was posted on the Mark Zuckerberg-owned social network. The actor's daughter turned off the comments on the post, leaving the comments section blank.

She further assures in her IG post that his father "is already on his way to recovery."

TMZ reports that the condition of the actor-comedian is serious. And as such, the family members of Foxx reportedly gathered in the hospital even if some were not in town. The source of the publication disclosed that the actor is now "communicating," showing signs that he is on his way to recovery from the unnamed "medical condition."

Foxx Films Action-Comedy Back In Action

Before confirming his "medical complication," Foxx was previously seen filming his upcoming movie, as per Daily Mail. The movie that the 55-year-old actor is working on, an action comedy film entitled Back In Action, also stars Cameron Diaz.

Last Monday, a photo of Foxx during the shoot circulated. But on Tuesday, the daughter of the actor says that he was rushed to the hospital as he suffered a "medical condition."

The upcoming movie that the Oscar winner is filming marks the much-awaited comeback to acting of his co-star, none other than Diaz. However, the actress reportedly plans to return to retirement after this action comedy movie.

Foxx previously shared that he begged Diaz to return to the big screen, pulling her out of retirement in acting. Last June 2022, the 55-year-old actor announced that the actress was back on the scene. He posted a phone call with his co-star in Back in Action on Twitter, revealing that the production for their Netflix movie started late last year.

As of writing, the medical condition that brought the Oscar winner actor to the hospital has yet to be determined.
