TMZ has released video footage of a person thought to be Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice pulling the limp, unconscious body of his fiancée into a hallway.
According to Black Sports Online, the surveillance tape depicts a man who appears to be Rice dragging Janay Palmer out of a building.
If it is proven that the person in the video is, in fact, Rice, this piece could serve as evidence corroborating several witnesses' claims that Rice hit Palmer after she either struck him or spit on him at an Atlantic City casino.
BSO reported that the 27-year-old running back delivered a single uppercut to his wife-to-be that knocked her out, but this fact hasn't yet been confirmed.
Rice and Palmer were arrested last weekend for simple assault, after they started fighting at the Revel Casino in New Jersey.
The couple was released shortly after they were taken into police custody, CBS reported.
Rice's lawyer Michael Diamondstein said he thought the issue would "turn out to be little more than a misunderstanding," at the time of the argument.
Baltimore Ravens officials released a statement acknowledging the argument, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"We are aware of the Friday night situation with Ray Rice and his fiancé," the statement read. "We have spoken with Ray, and know that they returned home after being detained."
According to the Baltimore Sun, the NFL is slated to review Rice's case under the league's personal-conduct policy. Commissioner Roger Goodell will decide on disciplinary action, if any, regardless of whatever legal ruling is reached.
If he's found guilty, Rice could face suspension, fines, probation or even a lifetime ban from the NFL.
Rice, who played college football at Rutgers University, was drafted by the Ravens in 2008.
