Tori Spelling's mom, Candy Spelling, is urging the "90210" actress to work out her differences with Dean McDermott. A source told Radar Online that Candy doesn't want to see her daughter and McDermott split because he's such a good father to their four children.

Tori and McDermott's seven-year marriage was rocked by allegations claiming that he cheated with a woman he met in Toronto. Following the cheating rumors, McDermott checked into a Los Angeles rehab facility to deal with "some health and personal issues."

"Candy certainly is not a big fan of Dean at the moment, because of the hell he has put her daughter through," a source told Radar. "But she does recognize that he is a great father and he does love Tori. Tori finally confided with her mom about her ultimate fear that Dean could cheat on her again in the future."

"It was a very open and honest conversation," the source added. "At the end of it, Candy told her daughter, 'You will never know unless you try.' Since Dean did decide to get help, Candy thought that he at least deserved another chance."

The source said that Spelling will forgive her husband but "will never forget what happened."

"The real question is going to be if Tori can ever trust Dean again," the source said.

There were reports that Spelling was contemplating if she should file for divorce but decided against it because she's afraid "she'll go broke" if she does. According to a January report by Radar, the couple never signed a prenup before getting married.

"She would definitely kick Dean to the curb if she could financially afford to do so... Tori has admitted she would file for divorce from Dean, but she is afraid she would go broke," the source said.
