China Diplomat Wang Yi attended the Munich Security Conference to present to EU leaders the vision of China, including the rule of law in all dealings.

Senior Chinese Diplomat Wang Yi stressed concerns facing Beijing in dealing with foreign leaders at the Munich Security Conference, especially in the prevailing adverse environment. Concerns over the Chinese vision based on world security and development impact the global situation. Lack of cooperation and bilateral interactions is becoming prevalent as well.

China Diplomat Calls on Leaders To Assess Goals

Wang's trip to Italy, and France, as the Director of the Foreign Affairs Commission, landed in Germany last Friday, reported Global Times.

When discussing with Olaf Scholz that Beijing sees the need to impress that current differences and conditions are needed to improve bilateral exchange, more cooperativity in relevant sectors noted English News.

He had meetings with other German leaders and diplomats, including the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Mongolia, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Batmunkh Battsetseg. Visits to Budapest and Moscow are part of the tour. On the bright side, he lauded Bilawal agreement with China to build closer ties and a better future, citing Daily Times.

In the muddled backdrop, it will be helpful, especially in ending the Ukraine conflict, to fix the situation.

Munich Security Conference Could Forge Stronger Ties

A stumbling block that Beijing and Berlin agree on is the removal of unipolarity with free trade that is free of removing the hindrances which stops mutually beneficial global production and supply. Focus on international peace and sustained development should be the common interest, Wang told Baerbock.

The pivotal role of Germany as a member of NATO and EU can bring about better bilateral relations, Zhao explained.

Conditions brought about by current developments have been cited by Research fellow Zhao Junjie. A face-to-face meeting between officials is needed to hammer out deals acceptable to both parties.

The point of discussion in the MSC is ending the Ukraine conflict, which is causing problems. Beijing is projecting its influence to foster world peace, not conflict. Most of the MSC participants focus on a transatlantic partnership, pulling in improving economies in the world.

Another Chinese researcher Lü Xiang linked to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, suggests the move will be an impetus to the participant of the EU and NATO to drop support for the war. Ultimately send the combatants to the negotiation table. Another concern is how to normalize COVID recovery as well.

Wang's Reaction to the Balloon Incident

Wang Yi spoke of the wrong handling by the Biden administration has done over the balloons seen in serial tirades by the US leader. It was never meant to cross into the US airspace that deserved less than a demonizing reaction from the US.

It has brought attention to the hysterical grandstanding that forgot basic facts to push the agenda. The Diplomat added it was ridiculous and uncalled for, which is evident in the US agenda. He connected the actions of Washington to cloak its domestic trouble like inflation and debt with worse social conditions. Causing trouble over differences would be a lost cause.

The China diplomat stressed to members of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) its time to remove prejudices brought about by US hegemonic drive. World leaders stand to lose more but need to seek a resolution.
