Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance attracted around 118.7 million people across all mediums, per reports.

Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance went down as the second-most-viewed halftime show in history.

Fox held a record-breaking presentation on Sunday in Arizona. The media network said on Monday that Super Bowl 57, which included a victory by the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles, was viewed by an estimated 113 million viewers, making it the most-watched Super Bowl in six years, per Yahoo! Sports.

Super Bowl 57 was also the most-streamed Super Bowl, rising 18% from last year and 103% from 2020.

The Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show garnered higher ratings than the game. Attracting an estimated 118.7 million people across all mediums, the performance was the second-most viewed Super Bowl halftime show in history. The 2015 halftime concert by Katy Perry was the only other event to get a larger audience.

The Chiefs won their second title in four years Sunday at State Farm Stadium thanks to Patrick Mahomes' 38-35 rally. Super Bowl MVP Mahomes completed 21 of 27 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns.

Rihanna, the second-best-selling female artist of all time, controlled the field at State Farm Stadium with almost pure celebrity confidence, filling her brief 15-minute performance with hit songs, floating stages, club dance floor dynamics, and grandeur, per Deadline.

Sending A Strong Message

The "Umbrella" singer sent a strong message about equality with her act. Her huge dancing group masked their ethnicity by wearing masks that prevented even the audience from seeing their faces. Only their dancing and entertainment mattered in the Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Rihanna opted not to perform in the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show in support of quarterback Colin Kaepernick's stance against racial injustice. However, a lot has happened since then, such as her friend and mentor JayZ's Roc Nation teaming up with the NFL for the halftime show, according to AP News.
