The likelihood of Trae Young joining another team rises as his relationship with the Atlanta Hawks deteriorates. According to reports, he could join the Los Angeles Lakers.

The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching on February 9, and there are many speculations about superstars moving to other teams.

One is the possibility that Trae Young will leave the Atlanta Hawks in the summer due to his deteriorating relationship with the franchise, per ClutchPoints.

Atlanta has already gotten a decent replacement in Dejounte Murray. And even though Trae Young hasn't asked to be traded, and the Atlanta Hawks aren't actively attempting to get rid of him, he might be a major talking point this summer.

One NBA insider believes that the star point guard "will want out after the season," and the Atlanta Hawks will attempt to grade "John Collins and others" by the NBA trade deadline.

"Trae's a long shot. Maybe the [Lakers] in July with his ties to Klutch [Sports]," the insider noted, per Bleacher Report

Trae Young's current affiliation with the Atlanta Hawks is unclear. The team's future may depend on whether or not head coach Nate McMillan stays. The All-Star point guard has yet to ask to be traded, and the Hawks still need to make him available.

Trae Young Joining The Lakers

Regarding Trae Young's connection with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agency, Klutch Sports, handles the negotiations. The fact that Klutch represents both LeBron James and Anthony Davis raises questions about the nature of their connection.

The suggestions by LeBron James to the Los Angeles Lakers executive staff have an effect. Even though the Lakers have already acquired Rui Hachimura from the Wizards, they may make others before the February 9 deadline, per Sportskeeda.
