One woman was killed and four others were injured in a shooting at a Fort Worth bar on Sunday night, CBS News reported.
Authorities are still unsure of what led to the gunfire at North Side Outlaws Bar or how many shooters were involved. Additionally, local media reports say one of the five victims may be considered a suspect.
Police learned of the incident after one male victim, shot in the shoulder, ran to the nearby Cadillac Bar and asked for help.
"One of the victims ran a block away to another bar, where he was located," explained Capt. Scott Conn with the Fort Worth Police Department. "Obviously, we're concerned that we do not have a person who actually committed the shooting."
Sylvia Salazar, 56, was identified as the woman who was fatally shot. She was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
One of Salazar's daughters, Melanie Villarreal, said her mother was attending a fundraiser at the bar for a woman and child who died in a recent house fire.
Two unidentified victims, both men in their 20s, were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital and listed in serious condition. The status of the other victims, both men, are unknown.
Raymond Guerrero, a friend of Salazar's, recalled how much "she loved her family."
"She was serving food to everybody and helping. She was a real good person she was taken care of her husband who has been sick also," he said.
The bar closed following the shooting and is not sure when they will open back up for business.
