Simon Cowell is a dad! The 54-year-old "X Factor" judge and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 36, welcomed a baby boy on Valentine's Day. Cowell posted pictures of his newborn, named Eric, Twitter writing: "Very happy so say Eric was born at [5:45 pm]. Healthy and handsome," he tweeted, adding "Lauren in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages."
Two days after giving birth, Silverman and Cowell were spotted leaving New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital. A source told the New York Daily News that Cowell plans on spending the next couple weeks at his Upper East Side home with his new baby but does want to bring Eric to London to meet his mother and London pals.
"They are really happy to all be together and get Eric home and introduce him to Squiddly and Diddly [Cowell's two Yorkies]," the source said.
