Riley Roberts, a former aide of the Obama administration, warns how the path of the Biden administration will go until 2024 if the Republican sweep the midterm elections.

An ex-Obama aid gave a dire prediction if a Republican sweep occurs in all houses in the midterm elections that threaten the future path of the Biden administration.

Attempts by the president to change course to reverse inflation, recession, and a migrant crisis has not yielded concrete result for US voters.

Possible Outcome of Midterms Threatens Biden Administration

Riley Roberts, an ex-aide of former President Barrack Obama forewarned great changes will affect the current path of the current administration, reported Express UK.

He used to be a speechwriter for Attorney General Eric Holder during the Obama years. He stressed that President Biden could be impeached by the GOP-led House of Representatives, and he also indicated the GOP getting the most seats in both Senate and Congress will be a major hindrance to any plans of the Biden White House.

Furthermore, in the past two years every passed bill is an uphill battle for a Democratic majority. Whether it is a GOP House or Senate or both, it will be less inclined to collaborate with the president, and instead, will limit the administration and sifting through all the deals made.

A Republican Sweep Could Halt White House Agenda

Robert is aware of how congress will be a roadblock to Biden's attempts to push legislative bills if a Republican sweep comes in the midterm elections.

In the midterms of 2014,  when Barack Obama and the Democrats lost a lot of seats in the Upper House and in the lower House gained more seats as well, per The Atlantic.

Next, the ex-Obama aide claimed that the 44th president had to deal with GOP overspending, even nomination in the judiciary.

Then Republican House Speaker John Boehner ignores the 44th President when inviting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress, the president was bypassed, stated Reuters.

Obama White House's Rough Time with Congress GOP

Roberts pointed out that Republicans were not on good terms with the last years of the Obama White House. He mentions during the Obama years it was not easy with the opposite party, which can hobble the presidency and turn inside out its narrative.

For the 2024 crucial Presidential election, they can relegate the Democrats badly when it comes. But they would still push ahead in the Obama years though lost the majority in the Senate and Congress twice as hard to get something done.

One survey conducted by FiveThirtyEight, a polling website resulted in the Republicans hitting good gains on November 8. Getting more Senate seats and a win in Congress that will impact Biden.

Next, the former aide claims the GOP will hinder family leave, abortion, policing, border matters, and spending of funds. Warned that the Democrats will be on guard due to their alleged 'wild spending.

A few Republicans will aim for impeaching Joe Biden, Cabinet members, or his VP Kamala Harris as well. One of them Majorie Taylor Greene; a pro-MAGA GOP from Georgia will be looking to push impeaching Biden if the red wave.

He remarked that impeachment can happen with a total GOP House takeover; alleging many of the party still refuse the 2020 results. But one GOP strategist said that more pressure is on governance not impeaching Biden.

Ex-Obama aide Riley Roberts sees a Republican sweep in the midterm elections as a concern, compared to the president fighting impeachment as a major concern.
