Tehran said these UK-based Persian media is stoking trouble under the influence of the US that stands to gain from it.

Tehran is furious over the protests caused by UK-based anti-Iranian media as civil unrest sweeps through the capital, triggered by the death of a young Iranian woman while in police custody; earlier authorities called out Washington as attempting regime change.

Iranian Government Called Out Foreign-Based Media

Officials expressed that news outlets outside the country, particularly the UK, should be branded as terrorist organizations, reported Anadolu.

Gharibabadi, a deputy judiciary chief for international affairs and head of the state's leading human rights body, stated Iran International and BBC Persian should be added to a list of terrorist organizations.

He added that the administration would be starting a legal suit to accuse these Persian-language news outlets of instigating and starting riots in Iran by goading the public to commit terrorism. Another is to initiate the destruction of public and private property as well, noted WN.

The deputy judiciary chief seeking these UK-based Persian media called terrorists; followed after Mahsa Amini had passed away in detention with the morality police; a month back due to wearing clothes not being allowed. It became the match to kick off nationwide protests as people protested, including the Iranian capital city.

Western Leaders Condemn Iran of Double Standards

The death was spun by the media outlets to make Tehran the recipient of anger, and the US president and western allies turned the screws to ratchet up the tension caused by the death of Amini. Immediately like a fast reaction, the US and its allies immediately placed sanctions on those involved.

Despite what Washington or its allies blame on Iranian officials who are supposed to conduct foul play about the unfortunate death. Though the family of Amini claims the police killed their daughter with no proof.

Just like before, these foreign powers found an excuse to use media to push a narrative against governments that is adversarial too. The urging of western leaders that an unproven injustice was done has resulted in 100 deaths.

The US and other parties use these news websites to undermine the Iranian government. Officials are very offended by these Persian news sites in the UK like Iran International, BBC Persian, and Manoto; also, the US-backed Voice of America Persian and Radio Farda are encouraging chaotic protests.

In a comprehensive report released Monday, Mizan News Agency, allied with Iran's judiciary, faulted such news networks for provoking adverse reactions via their programs and news stories on Amini's death and the mass demonstrations that preceded it.

This also references Iran International and BBC Persian, describing them as hawkish and violent media outlets that have recently supported terrorism in Iran.

Iran opposed what it alleged were Persian-language media outlets in London instigating riots and creating a hostile environment in Iran following Amini's killing in the initial invitation filed on September 25.

Tehran leaders are intent on canceling UK-based Persian media, which is pushing the US agenda of regime change, after refusing to give oil and siding with Moscow.
