In his ongoing legal struggle with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian, Kanye West is said to have retained the same attorney who represented Melinda Gates during her $130 billion divorce from ex-husband Bill Gates.

According to TMZ, Robert Stephan Cohen, who has also previously worked with Chris Rock and Rupert Murdoch, has been hired as Kanye's sixth divorce lawyer.

Kanye West has also hired Beverly Hills-based attorney Nicholas A Salick of Salick Family Law Group, APLC as counsel in California, according to the website, since Cohen is in New York while the legal separation battle is being fought in Los Angeles.

Cohen is Kanye West's sixth legal representative in his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Kanye West and his ex-wife are still trying to agree on child custody and property. Samantha Spector, Kanye West's fifth divorce attorney, left the case last month as a result of an unresolvable breakdown with the musician.

Before Spector took over, West allegedly fired Chris Melcher, the case's former attorney. At the time, insiders informed the source that West had been inconsistent in his interactions with Melcher, at times seeking a settlement and other times seeking to challenge her in court.

Kardashian's attorney Laura Wasser claimed that West had been strategically changing attorneys at the time he shifted from Melcher to Spector to delay the divorce proceedings, according to Mirror. After a lengthy marriage of more than six years and the birth of four children together, Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021.

She started dating comedian Pete Davidson in the fall of last year, but they broke up in August after nine months together. Since their divorce, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had a rocky co-parenting arrangement. Kanye West recently claimed that Kim Kardashian and Hulu, the Kardashian family's streaming service partner, railroaded him when deciding which school his children should attend.

West complained that the children were attending a pricey private school in Los Angeles and compared himself to a sperm donor who had no say in the matter. He recently uploaded videos of his two oldest kids, North, 9, and Saint, 6, attending the Donda Academy, which appears to be a victory sign-or at least peace with Kim Kardashian. Several other kids and teachers, appeared to be having a good time while singing and dancing.

Kanye West, who now goes by just Ye, revealed in a recent interview with Good Morning America that in addition to his conflict with Kim over the children's upbringing, he was also at odds with Adidas and Gap over creative control of his Yeezy line of clothing, as per Daily Mail.

Kanye West Changes His IG Pic to Kris Jenner

Kanye, who now goes by just Ye, revealed in a recent interview with Good Morning America that in addition to his conflict with Kim over the children's upbringing, he was also at odds with Adidas and Gap over creative control of his Yeezy line of clothing.

After nearly six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian, one of Jenner's four daughters, filed for divorce from West in February 2021. With thoughts of peace and respect, West said about Kris. When criticizing Jenner's parenting abilities in the past, West hinted at a tense relationship between the two. Just a few days prior, West used the passing of Queen Elizabeth II to express his pain in a social media post.

Fans speculate that West may have been alluding to either Kardashian or his late mother, Donda, even though West did not explicitly clarify the significance of his remark, Independent reported.
