Assault charges against Brad Pitt stemming from their 2016 private plane incident have now been made public through the discovery of the documents for Angelina Jolie's FBI report. Here's everything you need to know!

According to startling FBI records acquired by People magazine, Angelina Jolie said that her ex-husband Brad Pitt was becoming a monster after he reportedly erupted into a drunken frenzy during a 2016 flight dispute that terrified their children.

People magazine reveals that Angelina Jolie, 47, told investigators that Brad Pitt ranted on their private aircraft from France to Los Angeles in front of their six children and mimicked the conduct of a monster, yelling at them. The kids were shell-shocked during the September 14, 2016 incident. Jolie added that she was frozen, afraid, and didn't know what to do at the time.

Pitt, 58, is accused of pounding the plane's ceiling, shaking her, and pushing her against a wall. The 'Girl, Interrupted' star claimed to authorities that Pitt poured beer on her, spilled wine on the floor, and caused nearly $25,000 in damage to the plane. Both parties reported being injured.

The actress filed for divorce a few days later. After receiving an anonymous tip, authorities investigated the claims but decided not to prosecute the 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' star.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Argument During Flight Started Divorce Battle

Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19, 2016, alleging irreconcilable differences for their breakup, naming their date of separation as Sept. 15 - one day after the plane flight. She also requested sole physical custody while a Pitt source stated that he would fight for shared custody.

Pitt and Jolie met in 2003 while filming their 2005 action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and they began dating openly a few years later. They proposed in 2012 and married on August 23, 2014.

Days following the divorce announcement, sources reported that Pitt was being investigated for child abuse after allegedly being verbally abusive and physical with one of his children aboard the couple's private jet while their other children were there. After the event was reported anonymously, the LA County Department of Children and Family Services became involved.

At the time, a Pitt source claimed he was taking the situation extremely seriously and claims he did not perpetrate any mistreatment of his children, adding, "It's sad that those involved are still presenting him in the worst possible light." Because the event occurred in mid-flight, the investigation was also forwarded to the FBI under special aviation jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, an insider describes Pitt's version of events, admitting that the actor was intoxicated and that there was a fight between him and Angelina, as well as a parent-child quarrel that was not handled appropriately and escalated farther than it should have. No one was physically harmed, and Pitt did not strike his child in the face in any manner, according to the source.

As the altercation escalated, Pitt made contact with Maddox in the shoulder area, causing no bodily injury to him, according to the source. Maddox was fifteen at the time. Accusations beyond that are a blend of exaggerations and falsehoods, , according to the source.

Bodyguard Reveals Why He Can't Stand Working For Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's bodyguard claimed that working for the former pair was the most difficult job he'd ever had, forcing him to depart after only 18 months. The pair, who divorced in 2016, are presently mired in a dispute amid claims that Pitt was verbally and physically violent to Jolie and at least one of their six children on a private flight in 2016.

Jolie is presently suing the FBI, requesting information on the FBI's completed investigation of Pitt. The former security guard's story of working with the couple provides more insight into Jolie-Pitts' lives behind closed doors. Mark 'Billy' Billingham told The Sun that he became an unofficial father to the couple's six children.

Billingham spent 27 years with the British Special Air Service (SAS), which was ideal preparation for defending Pitt, Jolie, and their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Some parents could only gaze at their children from a distance and could not physically touch them. Billingham would take them swimming and essentially become their second father.

He was also startled that Jolie and Pitt appeared to lack very basic social skills, and he claims what surprised him the most was their poor level of common sense. While Billingham claimed the job was pleasurable, he said it took him away from his children, which is why he had to stop, Fox News reported.
