According to a report, Vladimir Putin's daughter has a new lover whose name is similar to that of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

From Putin's marriage to Lyudmila Putina, which ended in 2014, the Russian president has two children. Katerina Tikhonova, 35, is the younger of the two and is thought to be seeing Igor Zelensky after her divorce from her spouse in 2017.

Putin's Daughter Went to Munich over 50x to Meet Partner Zelensky

Der Spiegel and Russian news source iStories collaborated on an investigation into Tikhonova's relationship with Zelensky, a professional ballet dancer. According to the claim, the couple has been living together in secret in Munich, Germany, and have a two-year-old daughter together.

Tikhonova was a dancer who was recognized for her acrobatic abilities, but she is currently the deputy head of Moscow State University's Institute for Mathematical Research of Complex Systems. Per Daily Express, she was formerly married to Russia's youngest billionaire, Kirill Shamalov, but the couple divorced in 2017. According to the allegation, she began dating a leading professional ballet dancer around that period.

From 2017 to 2019, Tikhonova was regularly travelling from Moscow to Munich to be with her boyfriend, according to the report. However, she must have been obliged to cease traveling due to the conflict in Ukraine and Western sanctions on Russia.

"She resided in Russia, while her daughter's father, Igor Zelensky, who managed the Bavarian State Ballet, lived in Germany," the report noted.

Katerina Tikhonova, the younger of two Putin children from his marriage to ex-Kremlin first lady Lyudmila, was previously married to Kirill Shamalov, 40, Russia's youngest millionaire. They parted in 2017 when she began dating the ballet star, who was married to choreographer Yana Serebryakova and has two kids and a son.

Putin has railed against Russians who reside in the West, despite his own daughter traveling to Munich on a regular basis with full official assistance and security to spend time with her new boyfriend, as per Mirror.

Who is Katerina Tikhonova's New Boyfriend?

Documents proving flights involving "Tikhonova, Zelensky, a child, nannies, and security guards" were uncovered during the journalistic investigation. It was found that "she travelled to Munich, where Zelensky worked, more than 50 times" over a two-year period.

The site got papers from the President Vladimir Putin's Security Service and Tikhonova's personal security guard Alexei Skripchak's e-mail via an unnamed source. Last month, Zelensky, a Russian-born Georgian with no known ties to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, resigned from the Bavarian State Ballet, reportedly for refusing to denounce Putin's deadly campaign in Ukraine.

When asked about his old employer, a Der Spiegel insider at the Bavarian Ballet stated Zelensky was "most likely the boyfriend of Putin's daughter" even before they asked about his personal links, according to the report.

Her partner Zelensky is a star of the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg and the New York City Ballet Company, and is considered as one of Russia's most successful ballet dancers. In London, he was a guest soloist with the Royal Ballet.

Per Daily Mail, the Royal Ballet of the United Kingdom sued Zelensky and his mentee Sergei Polunin in 2013 after they walked out of a performance. At the age of 20, Polunin, a Ukrainian-born ballet dancer, became the Royal Ballet's youngest ever male principle. He is also noted for having a tattoo on his chest resembling Vladimir Putin's face.
