King Henry is back, Clarissa is Catherine's daughter and Catherine tried to kill Mary and herself. Here are my questions from "Inquisition":
No. 1 - How doomed is Catherine?
Catherine was already on her way to an execution. However, her family gave her a way out - i.e. a poisonous pill or seed which she could take to commit suicide. (I'm assuming they felt this was more honorable than being beheaded.) Will Catherine be executed as scheduled? Or will King Henry think up a punishment worse than death after Catherine's attempt on Mary's life?
No. 2 - Will Clarissa's alliance shift?
Since the pilot episode of "Reign" Clarissa has shown she will do anything - which includes murdering innocent people - if she thinks it's in Mary's best interests. Now Clarissa knows Catherine is her mother and she must also know Catherine and Mary hate each other. At the end of last week's episode Catherine's daughter attempted to save both Mary from drowning and her mother from dying of poison. However, how long will Clarissa choose both sides? When will she chose one over the other?
No. 3 - How far will Bash go for Mary?
Bash said to Mary at the end of last week's episode that he would kill his father for her. Wow. It's possible that Bash and Mary's engagement is becoming less about Francis and more about how they feel about each other. So how far will Bash go for Mary this season?
No. 4 - Who do you guys think loves Mary more?
Yes I'm going to go here. Francis was willing to choose Mary over his country. Bash is willing to kill his Father for Mary. So I ask you "Reign" fans, judging from this evidence and the other acts they've each committed for the young queen, who loves Mary more?
"Reign" airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.
