Former President Donald Trump presses Vladimir Putin to release any information that would put dirt on Hunter Biden over ties with Russian oligarchs.

Amid Russia's savage assault on Ukraine, Donald Trump made it a top priority on Tuesday to press Vladimir Putin to hand over any records he may have on Hunter Biden's ties with Russian oligarchs.

According to an excerpt from a recent interview, the ex-president was particularly interested in a purported $3.5 million payment from the widow of a former mayor of Moscow to a firm co-founded by Hunter Biden.

Trump Requests Putin To Release Dirt About Hunter Biden

Trump was referencing a Senate Republican report from 2020 that said Yelena Baturina, a Russian wealthy tycoon, donated the money to Rosemont Seneca Thorton as part of a consultancy deal.

After Trump, along with a slew of other US officials, including his son Hunter and Hillary Clinton, sanctioned by Moscow earlier this month, Trump accused Biden of having a "conflict of interest." Hunter Biden is a co-founder of Rosemont Seneca Advisors although it's unclear whether the two firms have any ties. Hunter's father was a vice president at the time when the Russian oligarch paid him.

President Joe Biden was likewise cleared of any misconduct in the September 2020 Senate investigation, which was issued just weeks before the presidential election. That hasn't stopped Trump from accusing his Democratic opponent of being swayed by foreign interests, according to Daily Mail.

Hunter Biden was a co-founder and CEO of Rosemont Seneca Advisors; but according to his attorney George Mesires, Joe Biden has no ties to Rosemont Seneca Thorton, and it's unclear what, if any, ties the two firms have.

Trump has regularly sought foreign aid to harm his political foes. He publicly demanded that Russia's government produce emails that he said Hillary Clinton was concealing to prevent the discovery of embarrassing information about her in July 2016. Nearly three years later, Trump is claimed to have tried to get Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch a bogus investigation into Hunter Biden's participation on the board of Ukrainian oil giant Burisma.

Zelensky's military forces were fighting Russian-backed rebels in Eastern Ukraine at the time, and the newly-elected Ukrainian president requested that Trump supply Ukraine with additional Javelin anti-tank missiles counter Russian tanks.

In truth, then-Vice President Biden at that time was following out the wishes of the Obama administration, as well as the EU and the IMF, by pressuring Mr. Shokin to resign, even though he was generally viewed as corrupt. A whistleblower eventually exposed Trump's effort at blackmail to Congress, resulting in the first of his two impeachment proceedings, Independent reported.

Lawmakers Allege Hunter Biden Received $1 Million From Chinese Companies

Meanwhile, Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson released new bank documents on Tuesday, revealing President Biden's son Hunter Biden got millions of dollars from communist Chinese regime-linked enterprises as late as 2017. The transactions, which were discovered during the two senators' probe, raise worries about the Biden family's influence peddling and the risk of jeopardizing the administration's policy toward Beijing.

In 2020, Democrats disregarded evidence of Hunter Biden's shady business transactions as Russian misinformation. After left-leaning news sites have accepted the legitimacy of damaging emails and data found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop computer during the 2020 presidential campaign, the evidence is receiving a second look.

Senators discovered records of three bank transfers that reveal a $1 million payment from a Chinese corporation involved in a US investigation of international bribery and money laundering to Hunter Biden's company, as per Washington Times.
