What Prank Is George Clooney Planning For Tina Fey And Amy Poehler? Clooney Says It Will Be A 'Dirty One'

Famous Hollywood prankster George Clooney said he is planning a "pretty brutal" prank on Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in retaliation for their Golden Globes jokes that Clooney only likes to date younger women, the New York Daily News reported.

The "Gravity" star has already warmed up by sending a fake letter to Fey and Poehler, pretending to be Matt Damon. The letter said that Damon, who has been pranked by Clooney on previous occasions, was upset at the comedians for making fun of his friend.

Damon revealed the details of Fey and Poehler's reactions to his supposed letter during a "Ask Me Anything" Thursday session on Reddit.

"George made up stationary with my name on it, and sent a really wounded letter to Tina and Amy saying my feelings were really hurt, how could they do this, etc," Damon said, according to the Daily News.

Damon said Fey, 43, and Poehler, 42, sent him two huge fruit baskets.

"So they sent me two fruit baskets. One had a letter with an apology. Another said 'If this is part of some Clooney prank, please know that we're grown-ass comedians, and you have to do a little better to fool us," Damon said, according to the Daily News.

"I photographed the letters and emailed them to George with a caption that said 'Go f--k yourself," Damon said. "He's honestly a child. I can just see his shoulders shaking when he laughs alone in his house."

In addition to Damon, Clooney has pranked "Gravity" co-star Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Bill Murray and producer Jerry Weintraub, the Daily News reported.

During the 2014 Golden Globes, hosts Fey and Poehler said that Clooney would rather "float away into space and die" than date a woman his own age.

The salt-and-pepper haired 52-year-old said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio that he is planning a bigger, "dirty" joke on the comedians.

"[They] said step it up," Clooney said, according to Us Weekly, "That's the appetizer and what's coming now, the main course, is pretty brutal."

"This one is one that I have it in my hotel room set- taking pictures and stuff- I'm sitting there like, 'If I do this, this downright dirty...I have to think if I'm actually going to do it or not," Clooney said.
