Chicago Teen Killed in McDonald's Parking Lot Shooting; Police On the Hunt for Masked Gunman Who Wounded Three More (VIDEO)

Police are looking for a masked man who killed one teen and wounded three others in a Chicago McDonald's parking lot.

17-year-old Markeyo Carr was fatally shot in the head outside of the fast food restaurant located at N. Clark St. and Pratt Boulevard on the North Side, according to a report by ABC's local station in the city.

The four teens were reportedly in the parking lot of the McDonalds at about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Chicago Tribune reported. One of the girls who was shot several times dove into a bathroom in the restaurant, according to law enforcement officials. An 18-year-old man who sustained gunshot wounds in his lower back was transferred to Presence St. Francis Hospital with the girl, about 15. The man is said to be in serious condition.

Another man reported he'd been shot at the McDonald's later that day, after he spoke to medical officials at Weiss Memorial Hospital.

Resident of the area Faye McCoy told WLS she was doing her taxes across the street when she heard gunfire.

"I just knew somebody was shot. I looked over there, I went over there, and the young man is dead," McCoy stated. "And I end up knowing his mom. He's not a gang banger. He had been shot in the temple. He died, took his last breath, with me standing there."

Witness Robert Congiusti said he heard around six shots.

"They weren't all together," he told WLS. "There were two and two, and then one and one."

Police are still unsure whether there was more than one gunman.

Carr lived just four blocks from the site of the shooting. Aunt Juanita Carr told the Tribune that the teenager was the third of five children, and spent much of his time hanging out with his siblings and recording music.

"He mostly just stayed in, rapping and singing," Juanita Carr said.

The area is known to have a gang presence, with the La Raza and Latin Kings crews locked in a recent feud, the Tribune reported. According to an initial police report, it appears three of the four victims didn't have a history of gang involvement. The fourth's confirmation is still pending.
