Super Bowl Shootings In Colorado, Missouri Leave Two Men Critically Injured

Two men are recovering after being shot in Colorado and Missouri following Super Bowl celebrations on Sunday and Monday, CBS News reported.

The first victim, whose name has not been released, was shot around 8 p.m. after walking outside of the party he was attending with his family in Colorado. He was hit twice in his upper body and will remain in the hospital for at least three days, sources told CBS.

"We're not sure what led up to the shooting, whether it was an argument somewhere else or something else that transpired prior to that, we don't know," Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said. "So we're asking for any witnesses who saw what happened or heard anything to come talk to us."

After speaking with people who were at the party, authorities believe that no one there knew who the shooter could be. Denver police have asked the public for help in identifying the individual responsible.

In Missouri, a man was shot early Monday after an argument broke out regarding Sunday's big game.

According to KMOV-TV, a 47-year-old man was shot by his 50-year-old relative in St. Louis, though authorities are uncertain of what the two men were exactly fighting about.

Police said both men were intoxicated at the time of the shooting and have not released either of their names. The victim is currently in critical condition.
