Designs for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie characters have hit the Internet courtesy of ComicBookMovie.com.

The film website showed original designs by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, according to Latino Review.  The photos show figures of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.

"Directed by Jonathan Liebesman [and Michael Bay], the movie tells the story of Aliens invade Earth and inadvertently spawn a quartet of mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world," Latino Review reports. (Click here to view the photos)

Filming for TMNT began in July of 2013 on location in Times Square, New York, NY.  Megan Fox was spotted on set, but there was a lot of controversy around her casting since she seemed to burn bridges in with Bay after he fired her off the "Transformers" franchise.

Fox abrupt exit from "Transformers" was due to comments she made about Bay's reputation to Wonderland Magazine.

"He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation," Fox told the magazine in 2009. "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him."

Bay eventually responded to Fox's quote to GQ magazine.

"I wasn't hurt, because I know that's just Megan. Megan loves to get a response," Bay said. "And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I'm sorry, Megan. I'm sorry I made you work twelve hours. I'm sorry that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy."

The two were able to patch things up and work together on the upcoming film.  The TMNT movie will be released to theaters Aug. 8.
