An Indiana woman who sold her child for sex on eight separate occasions because she "needed the money" has admitted to the allegations against her.
25-year-old Gary resident Natisha Hillard was present for seven of the eight times she allowed Christopher Bour, 39, to sexually abuse her four-month-old daughter.
During a United States District Court hearing this week, Hillard pleaded guilty to two counts of allowing a child to take part in child pornography and one count of selling a child for sex. Bour has denied his charges, which include buying a child to produce child porn and possessing child pornography depicting a child under the age of 12, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
Bour and Hillard reportedly met through a dating service three years ago, when the 39-year-old man asked if Hillard would be interested in recording him touching a baby. They agreed to meet at the mother's house in Gary, where Hillard exchanged the child for money. Between September 2011 and February 2013, Hillard allowed Bour to see the child eight times, and was in the room for seven of the encounters.
An unidentified acquaintance of Bour's first notified the FBI of the meetings, the Daily Mail reported.
Investigators who searched Bour's house reportedly found images of a pornographic nature with the child. Hillard can be seen in the background of the photos.
Hillard allegedly traded her four-month-old with Bour because she was in need of the money. She faces a minimum sentence of 30 years to life for her single count charge of selling a child.
Bour will make a court appearance in Hammond's U.S. District Court on Thursday.
