Beyonce & Jay Z's sexy performance to "Drunk in Love" at the Grammy Awards 2014 was definitely the talk of the evening.
Beyonce sort of made up for her disastrous Red Carpet appearance at the Grammy Awards 2014 with her opening performance "Drunk in Love." The singer was joined by her husband and American rapper Jay-Z to add more sizzle to the performance.
Beyonce turned quite a few heads with her "destructive" outfit. She wore sheer black tights with what appeared to be embellished rhinestones. According to a Billboard report, the tights were from the Saint Laurent's fall 2013 collection. The entire ensemble comprised of a custom bra, La Perla collar, Nichole de Carle body suit, Stuart Weitzman heels and Jennifer Fisher earrings, Beyonce's stylist Ty Hunter confirmed to the tabloid.
If the outfit wasn't enough to send temperatures soaring, Jay Z joined his sexy wife and set the stage on fire. The rapper was clad in a black tux and the couple held hands, hugged each other and swayed together to the tunes of Beyonce's latest single. The couple's performance was not a surprise item as Us Weekly had previously leaked news of the two performing together at the Awards ceremony.
Jay Z was nominated for nine awards, the most for any artist tonight. He was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album, among others.
The two are no stranger to Grammy collaborations. Last year, Jay performed "Suit & Tie" with Justin Timberlake. In 2009 he joined forces with Coldplay for "Lost!" and in one of the weirder collaborations; he performed a Beatles medley with Paul McCartney and Linkin Park in 2006.
Beyoncé has performed solo numerous times. In 2008, she played "Proud Mary" with Tina Turner. This year's Grammy performance was the first time the husband-wife power couple has performed together at the prestigious award ceremony.
