After a 1-1 draw against Levante on Sunday, Barcelona has a chance to walk away with a win in the first leg of the Copa del Rey. Barcelona will look for a means to better attack Levante's staunch defense, which has helped Levante stay undefeated in their last three home games.
"I think the game on Wednesday will be similar. They'll close themselves off at the back, it's not the first time they've played like that against us," Barcelona's Gerard Pique said, via IB Times. "It wasn't a great day, we wanted to win but it wasn't meant to be. We don't feel bad because we created chances - we just didn't convert them."
Wednesday's match will also be Barcelona star Lionel Messi's 400th appearance for the club. Messi, who only recently came back after missing two months because of a hamstring injury, is expected to play.
"There is no need to think about Leo as a footballer coming off an injury," Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino said, via Sky Sports. "He has played the last two games, feels fine and will continue playing. When we decide to rest him, then he will rest."
