Police in Las Vegas are seeking witnesses who saw a man fatally shoot a motorist with his two children in the backseat following an alleged road rage incident, ABC News reported.
Though authorities are certain that people watched the situation unfold, no one has come forward with information.
The shooting occurred on Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. at Rainbow Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue. Sgt. Ray Steiber said the gunman drove away in a dark-colored compact vehicle.
The victim, Cleottus Harvey, 26, died after being shot multiple times in the chest. After he was attacked, his white four-door Buick crashed into two other cars.
His children, ages 2 and 3, were not injured in the incident. Drivers and passengers in the other cars also went unharmed.
There are currently no suspects in the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
Earlier this year, a similar situation occurred in Pennsylvania when Timothy Davison was harassed by an angry driver, forced off the road, and shot to death.
Davison was traveling home to Maine after spending time with relatives in Florida for the holidays.
After his first 911 call was dropped, Davison's call finally connected and was picked up by Pennsylvania State Police, who claimed to be on the phone with him for a majority of the incident.
"This actor had murderous intent," Pennsylvania State Police Captain Steve Junkin said at a news conference. "We obviously have an individual who was so incensed that he continued to pursue Mr. Davison."
Authorities in Pennsylvania are still searching for suspects.
