Orlando police are on the hunt for a thief who stole a car with two toddlers inside.
The 1-year-old and 3-year-old were found strapped into their car seats on the sidewalk after the suspect dumped them from their mother's car, which was parked outside of an Orlando hotel.
Police told NBC that officers discovered the two kids less than one mile away from the scene of the theft.
The thief reportedly stole the car from the Ramada Inn off John Young Parkway shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to a report from CBS.
The children, whose identities and genders have not yet been released by authorities, weren't hurt after the altercation. They have since been returned to their mother, NBC reported.
Orlando Police Sgt. James Young said officials are currently looking for both the vehicle and the suspect behind the wheel. He added that authorities haven't identified a particular suspect in the case, according to NBC.
Orlando police are urging anyone with information to contact Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
