A new trade rumor has floated again with Klay Thompson and Jimmy Butler headlining it. It is said that the rumored deal is between the Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, and Boston Celtics. Many believed that if this trade pushes thru it will change the standing of the three teams involved.

Thompson has been the main target of rumor mills for the past few months. Since Brian Scalabrine broke out the news about Thompson's possible trade, many reacted that the scenario is close to impossible as he is just doing great for the Warriors this season. However, rumors of trading him seem to be not dying and still keeps on haunting him until now.

Same goes to Butler, who've been linked to numerous trade deals since the offseason. With his recent rise from last year performance, he's been the target of many teams being a high-value player. And it looks like the Warriors and Bulls will revisit the trade deal that was supposed to happen at the February trade deadline last season.

According to The Inquisitr, a potential three-team deal between the Warriors, Bulls and Celtics are said to be on the trading table for them to discuss. And to make it clear, below is suggested trade scenario:

1. The Golden State Warriors will acquire Jimmy Butler from the Bulls and Celtics 2018 first-round draft pick;

2. The Chicago Bulls will then get Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart, and Nets 2018 first-round draft picks all from the Celtics

3. Finally, the Boston Celtics will receive Klay Thompson from the Warriors.

Reports are saying that the Celtics will certainly agree on this even though they will lose some valuable assets but Warriors and Bulls might think twice on this. The Celtics have been wanting to have a superstar that they'd like to add on their roster and having Thompson will satisfy what they wish for.

However, the report also says that the Warriors might have second thoughts since Thompson have already picked up his game lately. He is now shooting the ball well, producing impressive numbers and seems to be redeeming himself on his earlier slump.

The Bulls may have the same sentiments as Butler has been consistent since day one of the regular season. He is leading the Bulls in points and steals, second on assist and third in rebounding proving his worth to the team. So it doesn't make sense trading him with his current performance.

Moreover, the trade deal will not be approved by NBA league official as Boston will be over the salary cap if they will obtain Thompson contract as per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine.

Hence, the rumored trade between the Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, and Boston Celtics seems to be unfeasible and will not work under the NBA trade rules making it a busted deal. So Klay Thompson and Jimmy Butler will still suit up for their respective team.
