Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale is always mentioned on the MLB trade rumors as of late. Many say that he is one of the best available players linked to being traded. Rumors are now spreading that he could be heading to the Los Angeles Dodgers this winter.

Sale, who is a 5-time MLB All-Star, is the hot topic nowadays for being a high-value player at a young age of 27. Sale finished the 2016 regular season with a 17-10 record, 3.34 ERA, 1.04 WHIP with 233 strikeouts across 226 2/3 innings while striking 9.25 batters per nine. Despite that, reports are saying that he'll be traded by the White Sox this offseason.

According to ESPN, a proposed MLB trade deal is being suggested between the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. Trade scenario is saying that the White Sox will send left-hand pitcher Chris Sale and right-hand pitcher David Robertson to the Dodgers in exchange for outfielder Yasiel Puig, right-hand pitcher Jose De Leon, right-hand pitcher Yadier Alvarez, and outfielder Alex Verdugo.

Aside from being good, Sale is also will only make less than $40 million the next three season that the Dodgers can afford to absorb as per stated in the report. As for the White Sox, Puig will be the big name coming to their roster while De Leon, Alvarez and Verdugo are in top 100 prospects for 2017.

On the separate report by SportsBlog, Sale and Robertson will fill in the position the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to address. Chris Sale will be a perfect complement behind Clayton Kershaw and their combination would build a huge 1-2 punch at the top of Dodgers' rotation.

As for Robertson, he'll be a perfect substitute to Kenley Jansen and Justin Turner if ever the Dodgers fail to re-sign both players. Between Jansen and Turner, most likely Turner will be brought back by the Dodgers in the rotation, as per stated in the report.

As for the White Sox, they will get the players that are on their wishlist who some say are the top four in the Dodgers' rotation. The White Sox plan is to restock their farm and probably include one MLB-type of a player like Puig.
