Apple Releases ‘Your Verse’ Video Featuring iPad Users’ Stories (VIDEO)

Apple has released its "Your Verse" video that features interesting stories and experiences of iPad users while using the gadget.

"We're humbled and inspired by what people do with iPad. So we set out to capture some of their stories. What will your verse be?" said Apple in its YouTube page for the advertisement.

In the clip titled "Life on iPad," viewers heard Robin William's narration of a monolog from the movie "Dead Poets Society," which emphasized the line -- "poetry, beauty, romance, love; these are what we stay alive for" - from Walt Whitman's poem. While William's was speaking, like the company's first video ad, different types of people doing different things were shown.

There's a climatologist chasing storms, two boys exploring the woods, LA Kings reviewing their performance and a Marine biologist studying the reefs.

In reality, though all of those seemed realistic, they were just doing things with the help of their tablet.

In the middle part of the video, it was shown that the climatologist was not really physically chasing after the storms, but they were tracking the storm through an app in their tablet. The boys were not really in the woods, they were just looking at a praying mantis in an iPad. The hockey team LA Kings was using the ThunderCloud iBench app to examine their hockey players' moves and the team's overall game approach. Lastly, the marine biologist was measuring the size of a reef using his iPad.

John Paczkowski of re/code commented via Apple Insider, "It's hard to look at all these various iPad use cases and not conclude that the iPad and other devices like it are having a transformative effect on our culture. Certainly, that's the argument Apple is making here."

The new promotional ad showed the reality behind the use of iPad which is usually currently being utilized by millions of people performing real tasks. It also showed how useful and significant the tablet can be.
