Viewers are freaking out over the cancellation rumors the legal drama TV series, "Suits."

Currently on its midseason hiatus, Season 6 has already shocked the audience with the exit of Gina Torres, who plays the pivotal role of Jessica Pearson.

GameNGuide revealed that Torres has joined the cast of ABC's "The Catch." But discussion is underway on whether or not to bring her back as a recurring character. It is possible that she will appear in at least six more episodes of "Suits."

The report stated that it is likely for Gabriel Macht to also take his leave with Season 6 finale next year. The main duo, Harvey and Mike, is the central force of Suits foundation. Gabriel Macht's exit, if it happens, may jeopardize the ratings of the show.

Although in an interview with TVLine, executive producer Aaron Korsh reported of Macht's renewal of contract with Universal Cable Productions and hinted at the possibility of Season 7 and Season 8.

Korsh also stated that Season 7 plotline hasn't been finalized yet and the showrunners are currently focusing on the ongoing season.

Season 6's explosive midseason finale has left the viewers with many interesting cliffhangers and loose ends. Mike's law career, future of Pearson Specter Litt after Jessica's departure, the relationship of Harvey and Donna, Rachel's trial and her future with Mike and many more are waiting to be resolved when Season 6 resumes on January 2017.

There is no doubt that the second half of the season will bring major changes in the story arcs of these characters, where they will certainly struggle to adjust to the changes happening in their lives.
