The five-member Korean boy group SHINee have to wait for one of its member Onew to fully recover from his injured ankle before releasing their newest album.

Onew sprained his ankle during their comeback performance ""SHINee WORLD V" at Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena on Sept.4.

He suddenly crashed down to the stage floor as the show came to a close. The members walked immediately toward him to help as he could not stand up, according to an allkpop report.

Afterward, he limped off the stage on one foot and the show resumed.

The group continued the performance without Onew. At the end of the performance, Onew went back to stage and addressed thousands of fans that jammed pack the arena.

He apologized for being too excited so he made mistake that caused him injury.

A day later, SHInee's agent, SM Entertainment issued a statement explaining Onew's condition. The doctor ordered him to wear a cast and minimize his movement as reported by Soompi.

"After a check-up, he was told that if he minimized his movements and got some rest, he would be okay. In order to protect his ankle, he is wearing a small cast, and will be receiving continuous check-ups to see how it's healing," the statement said.

The "SHINee WORLD V" show was held in Sept. 2-4. It was their first home concert in 16 months.

Earlier in July, SHINee performed in KCON Los Angeles. During their performance in Staples Center, the group mesmerized 70,000 of the American audience with their perfect harmonization and dance.
