Bloomberg reported that the new lineup comes with the new software upgrades for iPad that include wider operating-system support for Apple's stylus accessory. The new Mac Book Air will be equipped with a new multi-functional USB-C port technology. While its iMac 2016 will have a new graphic chips from Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD).

Apple will also announce a new and thinner MacBook Pro laptop with a flatter keyboard. Its new MacBook Pro will have a digital function key which placed display above the keyboard. The digital function key allowed user to launch a common tasks more quickly for whatever program is being used.

The key will require the new Sierra Mac operating system which to be released by the end of this month. The new Sierra OS will also bring the Siri voice assistant to the Mac and other features currently available in iOS device. That includes Apple Pay transactions on the web, new animations in the iMessage application, deeper iCloud integration for file storage, and an auto-unlock feature for users wearing Apple Watches.

The Cupertino-based company plans to ship the new iMac later this year and software upgrade next year. The product announcement is expected to be conducted at an iPhone event on Sept. 7, according toCNET. This new update of iMac will be the first update since last year

In order to push user to upgrade their iMacs, Apple Insider reported that Apple Inc. has archived some of its support pages of 2013 version of Mac Pro. Apple will no longer be updating them.

The support pages which soon to be archived are those that provide detailed port configuration, orientation of the computer, and recommended software and firmware updates. This signaled the refreshment and retirement of 2013 version of Mac Pro laptop.

As the new lineup of iMac 2016 will soon to be released, Apple suggests its customers to retire their old Mac computers and replace them with the new iMac series.
