The final version of Goggle's Android Nougat was released recently, this latest version of Android OS will roll out to several devices soon. But you don't really have to wait, here is a simple way on how you can enrol your Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player and Google Pixel. 

As posted on TechAdvisor, Google released its final version of Android Nougat and it is coming out with certain Nexus devices, we recommend you to wait for your upgrade over the air , but if you just can't wait for that here is a set of simple instructions on how you can upgrade to Android Nougat now. 

However, bear in mind that this is not the final version of the OS and there is also some possibilities of bugs that needs some fixing. If you can't wait for the Android N upgrade, the good news is the Developer Preview 4 is also available now. , so here is how to get Android Nougat Now:

How to get Android N now: How to download Androud Nougat

It is simple to download Nougat with Google's New Android Beta Program. Devices which are enrolled in this programme will receive OTA updates to the lates Android operating systems whenever available. 

Open the browser on your compatible Nexus device and go to g.co/androidbeta, you will need to sign in with your Google account. 

  • Scroll down the page and it wil give you a heading " Eligible devices" 
  • Find your device and enrol it on the beta programme, click the " Enrol device" button just beside it. 
  • Agree on the terms and conditions 
  • A confirmation message will pop-up, click OK
  • An Update Notification will arrive instantly sometimes but there are also times when it can talke up to 24 hours, check your internet connection if you didn't get it instantly.
  • Once the update notification is up, choose Download, be sure to be connected on a Wifi because the file is a bit large. 
  • Tap Restart and Install Then Enjoy your Android Nougat.
